Reader. Dreamer. Writer.
Nothing gives me more joy that compiling these delicious book cover lists every year. This year I seem to be leaning toward jigsaw-like designs. As always, there are too many stunning designs to choose from. I recently made a Twitter thread on the ‘Best Book Covers from India 2019‘ because they were all so good that I didn’t want to limit a few of them to this roundup. The reaction to the same was very encouraging, so here’s more cover love. Presenting the 30 Delicious Book Covers of 2019
PS: I have tried to give credit wherever possible. If I have made a mistake, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Or if you know the designers of those books where credits have been omitted, leave me a comment/message.

The Heavens is my favourite of the bunch. It’s so eye-catching and I’d definitely buy it if I saw it on a store shelf.
Agree.. Love these
Lots of talent there. Thank you for sharing…
A pleasure. I loved these covers
Delighted to see credit being given to the cover artists – they get so little recognition
Agree. Very difficult to get their names too unless we’ve seen a physical book or the book is famous enough that someone has talked about the design. Hope times change and they will soon be included in the ‘Details’ tab on online buying platforms, Goodreads etc so they get more recognition.
Great selection!!
Thank you
Thank you 🙂
These are all so beautiful! I love Shimizu’s covers for the Vintage Japanese series. I also love her designs. And Bombay Balchão cover is another fav.
Such talent in design—agree!
