I specialize in providing content (written and photographed) for publications and small businesses.
1.Writing
This includes feature writing, blog copy and articles. I can work on essays, lists, reviews, and informative articles related to books, wellness, food and culture, but not limited to these topics. All pieces would be proof read and delivered to the highest professional standard within the deadlines agreed upon.

I can transform your notes into a structured, error free, engaging article. I can also help ghost write web copy, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters and brochures.
2.Content creation
As a visual storyteller on Instagram for over 4 years, I am well versed with creating content (this includes a visually appealing picture and a striking caption) that speaks to the audience. I collaborate with brands for sponsored posts or giveaways on my Instagram platform that currently has over 60K followers. I am partial towards books, writing, creative content, and slow lifestyle. I am thoughtful and selective in my collaborations and would not work with brands that do not excite me. Such collaborations will always be disclosed as Ad or Sponsored.

3.Content creation for you
If you are looking for engaging content (written or photographed) for your social media accounts, website, blogs, press releases or anything else, I can help.
-I can also take over your Instagram account for a specified period of time (a day, a week, two weeks etc) and post content. This includes visually appealing pictures and engaging captions with appropriate hashtags.

4.Photography
Images speak a thousand words. Having striking, engaging images that speak your brand story is an an added asset to any brand. With a creative eye and a passion for storytelling, I can work on images for your social media channels or general use for your website, or press releases. All photographs will be edited and delivered as high quality images to compliment your brand. Get in touch for photo bundle rates. The rates vary according to client requirements.
As an editor to polish your work
I can help polish your work in progress and really make it shine. Beta reading and Manuscript Appraisal are two popular options for writers aspiring to get published and still in initial stages of their manuscript. I also work on smaller projects to proof read your articles, web copy and blog posts. (Simply send me an email with your requirements). A brief outline on editing services I offer:

Here are more details about editing needs I can help you with:
1.Proofreading
No matter how good of a writer you are, errors would always creep in. Every writer benefits from another pair of eyes to catch punctuation errors, spelling mistakes and grammatical blunders. I can proof read your report or document or blog post or web copy and ensure it is error free and meets professional standards.
2.Manuscript Services
If you have completed your manuscript and would like to have an unbiased opinion on your work, you might find Beta reading or Manuscript Appraisal useful. If you are looking for edits to polish your work, I offer a Developmental edit followed by Line edit.
– Beta reading
Beta reading is a test run of your work-in-progress. I offer comments from a reader’s POV. This also involves answering any specific questions you wish to be addressed (subject to prior discussion). This service focusses on the big picture — Is your story engaging? How attractive is the premise? Does the reader connect with the characters? How does the pacing fare? What does the reader experience through the manuscript? Is it worth investing your time on future drafts?
Beta reading does not involve proof reading, structural or developmental edits but a report (usually 2 pages) on what works and what doesn’t. The report does not involve suggestions to improve your work. But it will help you understand the pitfalls and strengths of your writing.
While enquiring about beta reading your manuscript, do mention the genre of your work.
Turnaround time : 1 week
– Manuscript appraisal
This is a more detailed assessment of your manuscript that critiques both the readability of the manuscript from a reader’s point of view and the impact of your novel from a publisher’s point of view. This report would be around 5-10 pages and contain a detailed critiquing of your manuscript. Line edits, grammar mistakes and the like would not be pointed out in this option. If you are confident about your language skills, this is a very attractive option. The report includes notes on the characters, dialogue, plot, readability, conflicts, endings; basically a briefing of what you have gotten right and where you have gone wrong.
– Developmental edit
Developmental edit deals with the skeleton or structure of the story. This is the first step in the editing process of your completed manuscript. It focusses on structure, conflict, POV, plot pacing, character progression and credibility, world building and other basics of good story telling. A Developmental edit is the first step in polishing your manuscript. I’ll read your complete manuscript and suggest ways to make the script tighter through structural rearrangement or pace of the story progression and point out your strong and weak areas. This edit includes everything in the Manuscript Appraisal edit but involves a more detailed and thorough feedback. It does not involve line edits.
Who needs this?
Everyone. Every manuscript needs a developmental edit as it works on the core of your story. All other edits follow developmental edits. The Developmental edit is for writers who have completed their manuscript and want to begin the first revision.
– Line Edit
Line edit tackles your manuscript at sentence level. It goes deep into the language, word choices, sentence constructions, grammar and inconsistencies. A line edit does not look for errors, but looks at how you use language to convey your ideas. I will help elevate your language while keeping your voice intact. This involves looking for over used words, ambiguities in POV, superfluous language, choppy sentences, repetition and redundancies. In this edit I provide in-line comments along with light proofreading.
Who needs this?
I usually offer a line edit only after a Developmental edit but if you feel your manuscript is ready for line edits, get in touch for a personal quote. I would not advise a line edit if your manuscript hasn’t been looked through by another pair of eyes—a beta reader, a critique partner, or gone through a Developmental edit (also called content edit or structural edit) either from me or another editor.
– Copy Edit
A copy edit is done when a manuscript is in the final stages and revised with reader or editor feedback. I will check and correct issues with spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure, while ensuring that your voice remains intact. A copy edit is advised only if the manuscript has gone through line edits and developmental edits.
– Comprehensive Edit
A comprehensive edit is the most detailed, in-depth edit usually after a round or two of Development Edit. Here we go through each line, each word and make sure it shines. The Comprehensive Edit is usually to take your book to the next level and submit to a publisher or self-publish it.
3.Short stories and other short form edits
Short stories have to build up tension, feature characters that impress and charm the reader in limited words. They are my favourite pieces to offer feedback on. Together we work on your language, plot progression and character impacts while maintaining your voice and vision.
I can also help polish your flash fiction pieces, blog posts and web copy to resonate with your audience. In case of web copy and blog posts, I will work on meta tags, sub sections, alt-tags, and ensure that the finished piece has better SEO and Readability scores. Editing needs are often unique, so please email me to discuss more.

Pricing
Each project is specific in its own way depending on demands of the client and turnaround time. Hence it is difficult to mention a fixed fee for said services. Please contact me with your requirements and I will get back to you with a proposal and fee estimate. If you to employ multiple services, I can send over a customized pricing plan for you.

If I have teamed up with a brand, I will always be transparent and honest about it. Sponsored posts would be marked as Ad or Sponsored in the post. While collaborating with a brand or company, I keep the aesthetic of the blog/Instagram as well as my readers/followers in mind. I will always offer my own opinions about the product. Similarly I do not guarantee a positive review for books that are sent as complimentary copies for review consideration. My reviews will be honest and in my own words. I am happy to sample gifted items from a new launch or product line, but any opinions about the brand or product, if featured on my social media channels, will always be my own. Therefore I will not entertain a partnership that entails pre-written pieces by the brand/company/publisher involved.
